Nancy Nielsen has 40 years of experience in level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). She has over 20 years of experience attending high-risk neonatal deliveries, resuscitation, stabilization and transport of critically-ill infants. She has thorough knowledge and extensive expertise in providing direct patient care to critically-ill neonates with a myriad of diagnoses. She has in-depth knowledge of medical treatments, evidence-based practices, advanced modes of ventilation and critical medical equipment including Amplitude-Integrated Electroencephalography (aEEG), Inhaled Nitric Oxide Therapy (iNO), and Total Body Cooling.
